Jobvite applications sent for you, with the receipt kept
Jobvite puts a short consent step in front of the form, and most employers add required screening questions. Here is what to expect.
- Account
- No account needed for most postings.
- Application steps
- A consent step, then one page
- Who uses it
- Employers across the US and Canada, from software companies to hospitals and utilities.
Jobvite is an applicant tracking system. Its careers pages run on jobs.jobvite.com, and some employers embed the Jobvite form on their own site.
What actually happens
You land on the posting
Jobvite postings sit on `jobs.jobvite.com` or an older `app.jobvite.com` link. Some employers show the same form on their own careers site.
Consent, then one form
After the consent step, the form asks for contact details, a full address, a resume, an optional cover letter and the employer’s screening questions.
Screening answered
We tailor the resume and answer every screening question from your profile. The form will not send while a required question is blank.
Receipt kept
Submitted, and the employer’s receipt email is kept with the application.
What trips people up
- Before the form opens, Jobvite asks for your country of residence and your consent to the employer’s privacy notice.
- Many forms require a full street address, city, state and zip code.
- Employers add required screening questions on work authorization, visa sponsorship and minimum age. Some also add required free-text questions, such as why you want to join.
How you know it landed
After you submit, Jobvite emails "We have received your application" from notification@jobvite.com for the employer. Keep that email. It is your record of the application.
