Gem job applications sent and confirmed for you
Gem job pages are public and the whole application is one form. Here is what happens when you apply.

- No account needed. The form sits on the posting page.
- Application steps
- One page
- Who uses it
- Technology startups and software companies, plus some employers outside tech, such as packaging and electrical firms.
Gem is a recruiting platform with its own applicant tracking system. Employers that use it post their jobs on jobs.gem.com.
What actually happens
You land on the posting
Gem postings sit on `jobs.gem.com` under the employer’s name, with the form below the description.
One short form
Contact details, a LinkedIn URL, a resume, and the employer’s questions.
Tailored and filled
We tailor the resume to the role and answer every employer question from your profile.
Receipt kept
Submitted, and Gem’s receipt email is kept with the application.
What trips people up
- The address starts with `jobs.gem.com`, so the page can look like a third-party job board. It is the employer’s own careers page.
- The standard fields are name, email, phone, location, a LinkedIn URL and a resume upload.
- Many employers add yes or no questions about work authorization, sponsorship or office days. Some add a free-text question about why you want the role.
How you know it landed
After you submit, Gem emails "Thank you for applying" from no-reply@gem.com for the employer. That email is your receipt.
