Delete your account and data
No sign-in needed. Enter the email on your account and we will send you a link that deletes it when you click it. We email the link rather than deleting straight away so that only someone with access to your inbox can do this.
This is permanent
There is no grace period, and we cannot restore your account afterwards. To stop charges for a plan bought on our website, use cancel your plan. That keeps your data and access through the period you paid for. For subscriptions from the App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel them separately in the store where you subscribed.
Signed in already? You can also delete your account from Settings in the app or the dashboard - it is the same outcome. What we do with your data is set out in our privacy policy.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
Sign in to the web dashboard to remove a saved document or Story Bank entry.
- Open Documents. Use the document's three-dot menu, choose Delete document, then confirm.
- Open Story Bank. Choose a story, select Delete, then confirm.
These actions remove only the selected saved item; your account and application history remain.
Deleting a saved document leaves any linked translations, scores, and tailored versions in place.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, resumes and cover letters
- Every application we sent and its status
- Your job matches, preferences and AI settings
- Your saved documents and interview prep
- Any remaining tokens on your balance
Deleting your account ends your access immediately. Deletion does not cancel subscriptions from the App Store or Google Play. They may keep renewing, so manage or cancel them separately in the store where you subscribed. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund.
What we have to keep
- Payment and invoice records held by our payment processor, kept for tax and accounting. Our own customer record there is deleted at the same time.
- A minimal record that an account on your address was deleted - your email, its domain and the request fingerprint - so the free signup grant cannot be claimed over and over from the same address.
- Our internal audit entry that the deletion happened, with the references back to you removed.
- The relay email address we generated for you, retired permanently so it can never be issued to somebody else.
