What trips people up
- Recruitee careers pages are often embedded inside the employer’s own site rather than served on a recruitee.com subdomain, so the posting can look like a bespoke page when the form underneath is standard.
- Where an employer has enabled it, the form may ask for a short motivation note as a separate field from the CV upload. Leaving it empty is a common silent weakening of an otherwise complete application.
- Forms are short and the employer question set is usually small.
- Some employers enable an open-application flow that is not tied to a specific posting - that is not the same as applying to a job.
- File upload sometimes accepts multiple documents.
How you know it landed
