Intermediate ELK Stack Developer (AML)

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office (Downtown, Toronto) at a minimum 4 days per week subject to change at any time.

We are looking for an ELK Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, with primary responsibility for building and enhancing real-time data ingestion, search, monitoring, and visualization solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Strong 5 years of min hands-on expertise in Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK Stack).

Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, visualizations, alerts and monitoring solutions using Kibana.

Build and optimize Logstash pipelines for data ingestion, transformation and processing.

Configure and optimize Elasticsearch indexes, queries, mappings and search performance.

Integrate ELK solutions with applications and enterprise data sources using REST APIs.

Development experience in at least one programming language: Java or Python, or strong API development/integration experience.

Troubleshoot data, application and ELK platform issues and support performance optimization.

Full-stack development experience is beneficial; however, strong ELK expertise is the primary requirement.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must have:

Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana development Realtime dashboards experience.

Open for either of the programming languages (JAVA or Python or API development) along with ELK stack. ELK is the main work but typically full stack is sufficient.

Preferred: Full stack/application developer with strong ELK Stack experience and proficiency in Java, Python, or API development.
