Full job description

Pain Management Practice seeking immediate hire for Full and Part Time Medical Assistant. Wiling to commute, we have an office in Chelsea, Manhattan and Flushing, Queens.

Knowledge of secondary language, (Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujianese.)

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with physician to ensure the accurate and timely transcription of medical information into the EMR system.

Setting up procedures and triaging patient flow.

Assist in day-to-day medical assistant duties.

Supply support to the operations of the practice by maintaining medical equipment and keeping examination rooms properly supplied and ready for patients.

Help maintain a clean, courteous and professional working environment.

Ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1 - 2 years of experience within the medical field in rehabilitation orthopedics and pain management preferred, or in a concierge service or hospitality field.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to handle stressful situations with discretion and professionalism

Secondary language, (Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujianese.)

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
