About Physio Supplies Canada & SPORLASTIC
Physio Supplies Canada is a Canadian distributor of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, orthopedic and medical products, serving healthcare professionals and clinics across Canada.
We are proud to represent SPORLASTIC, a premium German manufacturer specializing in orthopedic bracing, supports and medical compression products.
SPORLASTIC is a German family-owned company with more than 150 years of textile and orthopedic expertise. Its products are developed in collaboration with physicians, therapists and orthopedic professionals, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, patient comfort and functional rehabilitation.
We are expanding SPORLASTIC's presence in Canada and are looking for a driven Territory Manager for Eastern Ontario to grow the territory while supporting and developing our existing customer base.
The Opportunity
This is a sales-focused territory development role.
You will be responsible for both:
Winning new accounts and expanding SPORLASTIC's presence throughout Eastern Ontario.
Managing and growing existing accounts by building strong, long-term relationships.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, meeting healthcare professionals, opening doors and developing a territory - not someone who wants to wait for leads to come in.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business throughout Eastern Ontario by identifying and approaching clinics, healthcare facilities, orthopedic providers and other relevant accounts.
Manage, support and grow existing Physio Supplies Canada and SPORLASTIC accounts within the territory.
Maintain consistent outbound prospecting activity, including a minimum of 20–30 targeted sales emails and 10–15 cold calls per day.
Schedule and conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations and presentations with prospective and existing customers.
Introduce healthcare professionals to the SPORLASTIC orthopedic bracing and compression portfolio.
Build relationships with physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians, orthopedic professionals, sports medicine clinics, rehabilitation clinics and other healthcare providers.
Identify opportunities to increase product adoption and sales within existing accounts.
Follow up consistently on leads, quotations, samples, demonstrations and customer opportunities.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide regular activity and territory updates.
Work toward monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Participate in customer education, product training and clinical/product presentations.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, seminars and company events.
Travel throughout Eastern Ontario regularly to develop and service the territory.
Travel to conferences and business events elsewhere in Canada when required.
International travel opportunities may also be available for manufacturer training, conferences, exhibitions and other company activities.
Who We're Looking For
We would strongly prefer someone with previous experience in:
Orthopedic bracing or supports
Medical compression products
Physiotherapy or rehabilitation products
Medical device or healthcare sales
Sports medicine
Orthopedic or medical distribution
Other healthcare-related field sales
Candidates with a background in physiotherapy, kinesiology, athletic therapy, orthopedic technology, nursing or another healthcare/medical field who have strong sales ability are also encouraged to apply.
What You Need to Succeed
Strong business-development and prospecting mentality.
Comfortable with cold calling, outbound emailing and approaching new accounts.
Ability to build professional relationships with healthcare practitioners.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently.
Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn technical orthopedic and compression products in detail.
Comfortable conducting product demonstrations and eventually providing product education to customers.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly.
A valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle are required.
Availability to attend conferences and events, including occasional evenings and weekends when required.
Compensation & Growth
Base salary: $60,000–$75,000, depending on relevant experience.
Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+.
Performance-based commission and growth opportunities.
Product and sales training.
Opportunity to represent a premium European orthopedic brand in the Canadian healthcare market.
Domestic travel for conferences, trade shows and training.
Potential opportunities for international travel and manufacturer training.
Opportunity to take ownership of and significantly grow the SPORLASTIC business across Eastern Ontario.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional sales representative position.
You will be given an established product portfolio, existing customers and the support of Physio Supplies Canada - but you will also have the opportunity to build your own territory, develop new relationships and directly benefit from the growth you create.
If you have experience in orthopedic, rehabilitation, compression or medical sales - and you enjoy developing new business - we would like to hear from you.
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Extended health care
Mileage reimbursement
On-site gym
On-site parking
Paid time off
