Detailed Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities):
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end QA execution, including designing, planning, and executing both manual and automated tests for backend validation. The role requires ensuring product quality across functional, performance, and security requirements.
The individual will manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identifying, logging, tracking, and validating defects. They will provide actionable insights, root cause analysis, and quality reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Working within an Agile environment, the candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, ATDD sessions, and UAT activities. They will contribute to user story refinement, effort estimation, and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
The role also involves enhancing and maintaining automation frameworks while leveraging tools such as ReadyAPI, SQL, PractiTest, and AI-driven testing techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation is required, along with excellent English communication skills.
Additionally, the candidate should possess strong backend and API testing expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and preferably domain knowledge within the life insurance industry.
