CGI Montréal is seeking a Business Analyst to join a Risk Management and Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the mapping of business processes and the documentation of operational procedures, corporate procedures, and associated internal controls. Work model: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)

Your future duties and responsibilities

Map and document business processes using process maps (Visio), in accordance with the organization's established documentation standards

Gather the required information from stakeholders (meetings, interviews, observation) to accurately represent current-state ("as-is") processes

Support the documentation of operational procedures in accordance with established documentation standards

Support the updating of existing corporate procedures and internal controls

Validate process maps and documentation with process owners prior to finalization

Ensure consistency, clarity, and standardization of documentation across the various processes covered

Identify and highlight inconsistencies, redundancies, or gaps observed in documented processes (without necessarily performing an in-depth analysis)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Experience (junior to intermediate-level) in process management, risk management and/or internal controls

Good understanding of internal control concepts (e.g., COSO, SOX, or equivalent frameworks) will be considered an asset

Demonstrated experience in process mapping

Proficiency with Visio (or a similar process modeling tool)

Ability to produce clear, structured, and rigorous documentation

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple processes/documents simultaneously

Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders to validate information

Ability to work independently while adhering to organizational standards and templates

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Adaptability in an environment where priorities may evolve

Strong communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 50 000$ et 100 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
