About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced AWS Cloud Engineers to support a strategic AWS Platform Improvement Program. The successful candidates will provide hands-on technical leadership, drive platform initiatives, and support enterprise-scale cloud operations in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver AWS platform improvement initiatives.
Provide technical expertise and advisory support for AWS cloud services.
Support enterprise-scale cloud platform operations, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
Engage with stakeholders across technical and business teams.
Operate independently to resolve complex cloud platform challenges.
Help reduce dependency on senior AWS architects by providing day-to-day technical leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.
Good understanding of infrastructure, operations, security, risk, and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to work independently and manage stakeholder engagements.
Experience leading cloud platform implementation and operational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications (Associate, Professional, or Specialty).
Experience in regulated industries (will be added advantage).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
