As a Medical Director at ICON, you will drive medical initiatives within project teams, guiding strategic direction and decision-making processes, and offer expert medical and scientific guidance, leveraging therapeutic expertise to inform project development.
What You Will Do:
You will lead medical affairs delivery across your portfolio, setting standards and developing your team.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing strategic medical leadership and guidance on project teams.
Offering expert medical and scientific consultation throughout project lifecycles.
Ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities.
Representing the Medical Affairs Department in business development initiatives.
Providing operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as needed.
Your Profile:
You will bring significant medical affairs experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results.
Required qualifications and experience:
Medical degree (MD or equivalent), with specialization in a relevant therapeutic area preferred.
Experience in cardiovascular outcomes trials or obesity/GLP-1 studies.
Proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Advanced proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Based in Argentina, Brazil, or Mexico.
100% remote position.
