The Role

We're hiring a Low Voltage Technician to handle installation, termination, and commissioning of structured cabling and AV and security systems in the field. You'll work across a variety of client sites, often as the on-site lead for smaller jobs, and you'll be trusted to make sound calls without someone looking over your shoulder.

Install and rack-mount AV, networking, security and surveillance equipment

Mount displays, speakers, cameras, access points, and control hardware

Read and work from floor plans, riser diagrams, and rack elevations

Troubleshoot and certify cabling and connectivity issues on site

Coordinate with project leads, other trades, and clients in a professional manner

Keep accurate as-built documentation and labeling

What We're Looking For

2-4 years of hands-on low voltage / structured cabling experience

Confident terminating and testing copper

Familiarity with AV, IP networking, and surveillance/CCTV systems

Comfortable reading technical drawings and working independently

Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record

Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and handle the physical side of the job

Strong communication skills and a presentable, customer-facing demeanor

Nice to Have

Industry related - manufacturer training/certifications

Experience with access control, CCTV and security system installs

Fluke certification testing experience

Ontario ECRA/ESA or relevant electrical exposure

Why FAS Group
