About the role

Main responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all MEP construction activities throughout the project.

Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV works.

Manage MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.

Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, structural, landscape, and other disciplines.

Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documents.

Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and applicable UAE/international standards.

Monitor MEP construction progress against the approved project schedule.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.

Resolve technical and site coordination issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.

Monitor MEP manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity.

Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Attend technical and progress meetings and provide regular updates to project management.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection, snagging, and handover of MEP systems.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.

Assist with cost control, variations, procurement, and resource planning.

Ensure proper MEP documentation and as-built records are maintained.

Typical UAE Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Usually 7-10 years of MEP construction experience, depending on the project/company.

Strong UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Experience managing large-scale building, villa, commercial, or high-end residential projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.

Excellent understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, coordination, and construction methods.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

UAE: 7-10 years (Required)

Pay: From AED14,000.00 per month
