Join our Data Platforms team as a Senior Expert Snowflake (x|f|m) and help shape the future of our enterprise data landscape while supporting our mission of Simplifying Progress. You act as key interface between business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to advance scalable data platforms, strengthen data governance and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Through collaboration across functions and regions, the role contributes to platform excellence, continuous improvement and sustainable business value that supports better health for more people. Based in Göttingen or Madrid with the possibility to work some days in a week remotely.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

Define and further develop the Snowflake platform roadmap in alignment with enterprise data strategy and business priorities

Establish the platform vision and manage priorities, demand intake and business requirements to maximize business value and support strategic objectives

Drive data management initiatives to ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with enterprise data governance principles

Define standards for data modeling, security, data quality and platform usage while promoting best practices across Snowflake development and operations

Drive the adoption of enterprise data products, self-service analytics capabilities and modern data practices across business functions

Establish ownership models for data products, business domains and platform capabilities to strengthen accountability and sustainable governance

Identify opportunities to optimize data-related processes, improve operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives

Analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights to support business decision-making and platform adoption

Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, IT and other stakeholders to develop business-oriented data solutions and support successful platform initiatives

Coordinate activities across data engineers, architects and business users while managing dependencies with Azure Data Platform, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere and related enterprise systems

What Will Convince Us

Academic degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field

Significant experience in data management, data platforms, process optimization and project delivery within complex organizational environments

Extensive experience designing, implementing and evolving modern data platforms based on Snowflake, Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies

Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, data lakes, data products, data modeling, data quality, master data management and data governance principles

Expertise in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, SQL, Python and modern DataOps and CI/CD practices

Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations

Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and the ability to enhance processes and operational efficiency through data-driven approaches

Experience working in agile environments and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, architecture teams and engineering functions

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities combined with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Fluency in English
