About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.

Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment.

Troubleshoot issues with motors, control panels, lighting systems, power distribution, and other electrical components.

Replace damaged or faulty electrical components and wiring.

Ensure electrical installations comply with safety regulations and applicable standards.

Use electrical testing instruments and hand/power tools safely and correctly.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and materials used.

Coordinate with other maintenance and technical teams when required.

Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a commercial, industrial, construction, or facilities environment.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and relevant standards.

Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit and able to work at heights or in challenging environments when required.
