About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Electrical Engineer/MEP Manager in managing electrical works on site.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.

Coordinate and supervise electrical installation works according to approved drawings.

Assist in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and inspection requests.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other MEP disciplines.

Monitor electrical works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations.

Supervise installation of:

LV electrical systems

Lighting and power systems

Cable trays and cable containment

DBs and electrical panels

Earthing and lightning protection

Emergency lighting

Small power systems

Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

Conduct site inspections and identify installation issues or discrepancies.

Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials, and site activities.

Assist in resolving technical and coordination issues.

Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements.

Maintain proper technical documentation, drawings, inspection records, and as-built information.

Attend site and technical meetings as required.

Typical Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

1-2 years of relevant electrical/MEP construction experience.

UAE experience is an advantage.

Good knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and similar tools.

Knowledge of applicable UAE electrical codes and authority requirements.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Level: Junior Engineer / Site Electrical Engineer Experience: 1-2 years (UAE) Department: MEP / Electrical Reports to: Senior Electrical Engineer / MEP Manager / Project Manager

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
