About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in construction and MEP projects.
Install lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, DBs, panels, conduits, cable trays, and containment systems.
Perform cable pulling, termination, and electrical connections as per approved drawings.
Install and connect lighting and power systems.
Assist with earthing and lightning protection works.
Read and follow electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Conduct basic testing, troubleshooting, and fault finding of electrical installations.
Coordinate with Electrical Foremen, Engineers, and other MEP trades.
Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Follow all HSE and electrical safety procedures.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas properly.
Report material requirements, technical issues, and work progress to the Electrical Foreman or Supervisor.
Requirements:
2–4 years of relevant electrical/MEP construction experience.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices.
Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings.
Familiarity with electrical tools, materials, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of safe working practices and electrical safety.
Vocational/ITI electrical qualification is an advantage.
Salary: AED 1,300.00 - 1,400.00 + Paid Overtime
Experience: 2-4 years (UAE)
Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
