Restaurant Manager

Who we are looking for: The Clarion Hotel & Suites is searching for a Restaurant Manager for ECHO Restaurant and Wine Bar in Brandon. The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. This position requires high visibility and the desire to interact with employees and guests while performing floor shifts. The Restaurant Manager will have the ability to take control of situations and adapt to regular interruptions. Time management and organizational skills are crucial. Only candidates that have a positive customer service attitude will be considered. The successful candidate must also be willing to train and work shifts managing in the Night Club as well.

What you will learn: You will learn a full working knowledge of the Squirrel POS System. Successful applicants will learn how to schedule employees and how to count and verify liquor inventory. Successful applicants will learn to open and close the restaurant. Candidate will attend department and management meetings, as well as professional development courses and workshops.

Position Summary: Through the guidance of the General Manager, oversee and support the daily operations of the restaurant and lounge by promoting and providing consistent quality through coordination of superior customer and food service activities. Monitor and provide guidance for employees, and ensure proper procedures, policies and standards are being enforced.
