Job Description:
BACKGROUND:
The customer is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Corporate Banking domain knowledge to lead and deliver technology initiatives within the banking environment.
The role will focus primarily on project management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution across business and technology teams.
Experience in Corporate Banking products, operations, and regulatory reporting will be essential for success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Monitor project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
Coordinate with Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committee sessions.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Support project governance, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Manage vendors, project financials, and resource utilization.
Drive implementation and transformation initiatives across Corporate Banking domains.
Requirements:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management.
Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation, and corporate banking-related projects.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
Experience conducting fit-gap assessments against business, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience in corporate banking or financial services environments.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively with technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Corporate Banking Domain such as:
CASA (Current Account & Savings Account).
Loans and Lending Products.
Treasury / Market Products.
Accounting and General Ledger.
Payments and Cash Management.
Regulatory Reporting, including:
MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) reporting requirements.
JFSA (Japan Financial Services Agency) reporting requirements.
