About the role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician - Mechanical with experience in UAVs and aviation components. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of mechanical and electronic subsystems, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on assembly skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble UAV, aviation, or aerospace mechanical and electronic components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

Ensure proper cable routing, connector installation, and fastener tightening in line with assembly specifications.

Inspect assemblies for defects, misalignments, or damages, maintaining high-quality standards.

Maintain clean work practices to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing operations.

Perform basic fitting, trimming, and part preparation during assembly operations.

Assist in adhesive bonding and surface preparation processes (advantage).

Handle composite or lightweight structural components with care (advantage).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in UAV, aviation, aerospace, or mechanical/electromechanical assembly.

Strong understanding of UAV/aviation subsystems: airframe structures, flight controllers, ESCs, motors, servos, sensors, GPS modules, and power systems.

Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.

Knowledge of mechanical fasteners, torque application, and installation practices.

Familiarity with electrical wiring, connectors, crimping, and soldering is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Hands-on experience with hand tools and workshop equipment.

Awareness of composite materials, bonding techniques, and lightweight structures is a plus.
