Technical Analyst - Brokerage Systems

We are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a strategic brokerage technology transformation initiative. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business and technology teams, ensuring that brokerage and capital markets requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of brokerage operations and the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including client onboarding, order management, trade execution, settlement, custody, corporate actions, and margin trading. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.

Conduct gap analysis and support target-state solution design.

Act as the SME for brokerage systems, trading platforms, and capital markets processes.

Support integration design across internal and external systems using APIs, middleware, messaging platforms, and microservices.

Participate in solution architecture reviews, ensuring scalability, performance, resilience, and security requirements are addressed.

Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities for client, account, position, and transaction data.

Assist with SIT, UAT, production readiness, deployment, and go-live activities.

Facilitate workshops and manage interactions with business users, vendors, exchanges, and technology teams.

Required Experience & Skills

10+ years of experience in Brokerage, Capital Markets, Securities Trading, or Financial Services Technology.

Proven experience as a Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or SME within brokerage environments.

Strong understanding of OMS, trading platforms, settlement, custody, and post-trade operations.

Experience with enterprise integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, middleware, and messaging technologies.

Knowledge of cloud and container platforms including AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

Strong database experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Experience supporting system implementations, platform modernization, migration, testing, and production releases.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

Strong understanding of UAE capital markets, including ADX, DFM, Nasdaq Dubai, and SCA regulations.

Experience with exchange connectivity, market data integration, clearing, settlement, custody, and regulatory reporting.

Exposure to brokerage and trading platforms such as GTN, ZagTrader, TradeNet, Centroid, RupeeSeed, Broadridge, Fidessa, or similar solutions.

Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native application architectures.
