About the role
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized QA/QC Document Controller to manage, maintain, and control project quality and technical documentation. The successful candidate will ensure that all documents are properly recorded, distributed, updated, archived, and maintained in accordance with company and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all project QA/QC and technical documentation.
Establish and maintain an effective document control system.
Receive, register, track, distribute, and archive project documents.
Maintain document registers and ensure accurate document status tracking.
Control revisions and ensure the latest approved documents are available to relevant teams.
Manage the submission and approval process for QA/QC documents.
Maintain records of Inspection Requests, Material Submittals, Method Statements, ITPs, NCRs, RFIs, Test Reports, and other quality-related documents.
Ensure documents are properly reviewed, approved, and distributed to the concerned parties.
Coordinate document submissions between project teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor document submission and approval status and follow up on pending documents.
Maintain proper electronic and physical filing systems.
Ensure document confidentiality, accuracy, traceability, and accessibility.
Prepare document control reports and status reports as required.
Support the QA/QC team in maintaining quality records and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with project document control procedures and quality requirements.
Assist during internal and external audits by providing the required documentation and records.
Ensure proper handover and archiving of project documentation upon project completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Document Control, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in document control, preferably within construction, engineering, MEP, ELV, or project-based environments.
Previous experience in QA/QC documentation is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of document control procedures and project documentation.
Good understanding of QA/QC documents and processes.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with document management systems or project management platforms is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with consultants and clients in project environments.
Experience in GCC projects is an advantage.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is preferred.
Familiarity with EDMS, SharePoint, Aconex, Procore, or similar document management systems is an advantage.
