About the role
The Salesforce QA Engineer is responsible for testing Salesforce Sales , Service Cloud. The role focuses on creating and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and UAT testing, validating Salesforce configurations, tracking defects using tools such as Jira, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to ensure quality delivery.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Good understanding of Salesforce fundamentals
Knowledge of QA concepts, SDLC/STLC, manual testing, and test documentation
Exposure to defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira
Minimum Experience (number of years):
8-9 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably with Salesforce testing, test execution, defect tracking, and functional/regression/UAT testing.
Job Specific Skills:
Create and execute manual test cases based on user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria
Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing for Salesforce releases and enhancements
Validate Salesforce configurations, data fields, workflows, page layouts, and user permissions
Track, document, and follow up on defects using Jira or similar tools
Understand QA fundamentals including SDLC, STLC, test planning, and test documentation
Communicate testing progress, defects, risks, and blockers clearly to stakeholders
Work collaboratively with developers and business teams in an Agile environment
