Operations Senior Analyst – Express Scripts
Position Summary:
As an Operations Sr Analyst, you will be maintaining custom client authorization portfolios with a strong emphasis on quality and process improvement. While the position does require working independently, the position also requires working with others, both within our area and other areas, when necessary. You will always be backed by a phenomenal team of analysts and pharmacists who are focused on providing exceptional service to our clients to ensure your success with our team.
Here's how you'll make an impact:
Responsible for service transactions associated with business needs including but not limited to: client support, product support, quality support, and internal team support (projects/training)
Complete day-to-day Business Operations tasks without immediate supervision
Attend calls as a representative of the team to provide information on progress of different elements of the business
Work on tasks with a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/potential issues
Resolve non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members
Research potential concerns to determine root cause and preventative measures
Identify ways to streamline operational procedures between or within departments
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years experience in healthcare industry preferred
2+ years experience in claim review, prior-authorization, and/or pharmacy technician duties
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and support multiple deliverables while meeting deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel (to include pivot tables, v-lookup, and the ability to manipulate data)
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with internal and external business partners
Flexible and agile, demonstrated ability to pivot based on market demands
Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills
Background in quality and/or process improvement preferred
Eager to learn and proactive in expanding end-to-end knowledge in the PBM space
**Schedule: 8:30AM – 5:00PM EST Monday – Friday (possible weekend coverage as needed)
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 54,100 - 90,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
