Finance Analyst, Product Control (Banking, 12 Month Contract) UID:2269

Key Responsibilities:

1) Actively participate in the end-of-day P&L production process, including data extraction, validation, and preliminary variance analysis for specific financial instruments.

2) Execute daily checks and investigations of financial data across different systems, specifically focusing on identifying and resolving discrepancies related to trade booking, market data, corporate actions, and conducting off-market checks.

3) Contribute to the documentation and update of desktop procedures for core product control tasks, ensuring alignment with internal control standards and audit requirements.

4) Liaise with Front Office traders and Middle Office support to resolve P&L queries and trade booking discrepancies on a timely basis, documenting resolutions for audit trails.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

Prior experience in banking operations, risk, compliance, or finance is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office.
