Account Executive Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive Intern to join our Broking Team in Milan. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance and risk management industry while developing technical, analytical, and client-service skills in a dynamic and international environment.
Working alongside experienced Client Executives and Brokers, you will support day-to-day client servicing activities, contribute to insurance program management, and learn how innovative risk solutions are delivered to multinational and local clients.
As Account Executive Intern, you will:
Support Client Executives and senior colleagues in the delivery of daily client servicing activities.
Assist in managing requests and inquiries from clients, insurers, and other stakeholders through email and telephone communication.
Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of insurance documentation, policy information, and client-related reports.
Maintain accurate client records and information within internal systems and databases.
Assist in the preparation of market presentations and underwriting submissions.
Gain an understanding of clients’ businesses, risk exposures, and insurance requirements.
Learn how global insurance programs are structured and implemented locally.
Collaborate with colleagues across different teams and functions to ensure excellent client service.
Support data collection, reporting activities, and basic business analyses.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and development initiatives.
Assist with the preparation of presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop familiarity with digital tools, including emerging AI-enabled technologies, to improve efficiency and business support activities.
Qualifications
The Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree student, or recent graduate, preferably in:
Economics
Business Administration
Finance
Law
Statistics
Engineering
Related disciplines
Strong interest in the insurance, risk management, financial services, or consulting sector.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in and basic familiarity with AI tools and digital technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
Good presentation and problem-solving skills.
Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Fluent Italian and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Compensation
The compensation range and benefits information for this position are provided in accordance with local pay transparency regulations.
For this Extra-Curricular Internship, a gross annual internship allowance of € 9600 is provided.
