Account Manager Iberia

Job title: Account Manager Iberia

Location: Barcelona, Spain

The purpose of this position will be to manage and develop a portfolio of customers in one

country or sub-region, achieve KPI objectives (Sales, GPx, NBD, CRM and personal

objectives) according to regional marketing targets and global pricing strategy (commercial

guidelines), obtain in-depth knowledge about customers and competitors, their product

range and share it within DNP, orchestrate a virtual account team for managing customer

relationship matrix, drive innovation and facilitate product launches, ensure process from

order to cash (incl. collection of money)

Your key responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities and develop own market in close cooperation with

country/regional Sales Manager

Define and implement customer action plans for existing and to win new accounts – set

targets for local key accounts

Optimize customer portfolio (profitability focus)

Lead contract negotiations and closing deals

Support and facilitate product launch together with other relevant functions

Collect relevant customer and competitor information and communicate it systematically

within DNP

Coordinate and ensure resolution of customer complaints

Track performance by customer and product and report accurately and timely

Apply DNP commercial tools (e.g., CRM) and procedures

You bring:

University Degree or equivalent experience in science/technology or business-related

field

Knowledge of and experience in own discipline: Know-how of industry and markets, in-depth

know-how about products and/or applications

Knowledge of and experience in other relevant disciplines: Balance of commercial and

technical know-how, skills and experience

Managerial/social knowledge and experience: excellent communication and social skills,

negotiation Skills

Fluent English, plus local language
