Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday

Total Hours Per Week: 37.5

ISS Facility Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Moves & Changes Operative to support day-to-day relocation and logistics activities across the UCD campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture, equipment, and office items between buildings, assisting with office moves, room setups, and general campus support duties using company vehicles and manual handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to any additional requests made by the ISS support manager or client, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Roster Flexibility: Be available for change of shifts to meet client needs and operational demands.

Furniture moving and set up: Efficiently move and set up furniture for various events and classroom configurations as required by the client.

Classroom set up: Ensure classroom are set up according to the specified layout, including arranging desks, chairs, and other equipment.

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in removals, logistics, facilities, or a similar practical role preferred

Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks

Strong time management and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Awareness of health and safety procedures

Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours moves or campus events

Full clean Category B driving licence

HSEQ:

Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site

Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations

Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies

Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions

Other features of the job:

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
