About Us Al Amazon Metal Industries LLC is a sheet metal manufacturing company based in Sharjah, UAE, producing precision-fabricated metal components and enclosures for industrial and commercial clients. We're looking for a skilled MIG/TIG welder to join our production floor.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding sheet metal components to precise specifications, with strong attention to weld quality, finish, and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components as per drawings and specifications

Read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings (DXF, technical drawings) to determine weld requirements

Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring correct settings for material thickness and joint type

Inspect welds for defects (porosity, cracks, undercutting) and rework as needed to meet quality standards

Perform tack welding, fit-up, and final assembly of enclosures, panels, and structural components

Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper handling of gas cylinders, torches, and consumables

Follow all safety protocols (PPE, ventilation, fire safety) on the shop floor

Collaborate with fabrication and QC teams to meet production deadlines

Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards)

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of proven MIG/TIG welding experience, preferably in sheet metal fabrication or enclosure manufacturing

Ability to weld thin-gauge sheet metal (16–20 gauge) with minimal distortion

Experience with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding

Ability to read technical/fabrication drawings independently

Knowledge of welding standards (e.g., AWS, UL508A a plus for enclosure work)

Physically fit, able to work in a factory environment

Basic understanding of English or Hindi/Urdu for workplace communication

UAE experience preferred; trade certificate/ITI welding qualification a plus
