About the role
Key Responsibilities
Read and understand piping drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes according to specifications.
Fabricate and assemble pipe spools, elbows, flanges, reducers, and fittings.
Perform proper pipe alignment, fit-up, and tack welding preparation.
Use cutting machines, grinders, drilling machines, and other fabrication tools safely.
Check dimensions, angles, levels, and alignment before welding.
Work closely with pipe welders, fitters, and supervisors to complete fabrication work.
Inspect fabricated pipe spools and correct fit-up or dimensional issues.
Follow project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Pipe Fabricator / Pipe Fitter-Fabricator.
Experience in pipe spool fabrication and industrial piping.
Ability to read piping isometric drawings.
Good knowledge of pipe sizes, fittings, flanges, and fabrication methods.
Ability to use measuring and fabrication tools accurately.
Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel piping is an advantage.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
