About the role

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration. In this role, you will oversee project delivery, ensure technical excellence, and guide junior team members to translate client visions into functional, high-quality structures.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design and technical documentation for mid-to-large-scale projects.

Develop comprehensive concept designs, spatial layouts, and detailed construction drawings.

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of building systems.

Review local building codes, zoning bylaws, and accessibility regulations to secure necessary permits.

Oversee site visits, review submittals, and resolve technical issues during the construction phase.

Mentor and supervise junior and intermediate design staff.

Key Requirements & Skills

Proven track record in architectural design and project management.

Advanced proficiency in BIM/CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp) and rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion, or V-Ray).

Strong understanding of building systems, materials, construction techniques, and local building codes.

Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Strong communication, client-facing, and team leadership skills.

An exceptional design portfolio demonstrating end-to-end project involvement.
