About the role

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Project Management (PMO Director) to lead, scale, and optimize our project delivery framework. In this role, you will oversee portfolio execution, standardize governance processes, manage cross-functional teams, and align complex project initiatives with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Define, implement, and maintain portfolio governance standards, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and operational best practices.

Lead, mentor, and resource a team of senior project and program managers.

Oversee multi-project schedules, budgets, risk registries, and resource allocations to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

Act as the central point of contact for executive stakeholders, providing clear reporting on milestone health, KPIs, and ROI.

Identify delivery bottlenecks, mitigate high-level project risks, and drive continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven track record leading a Project Management Office (PMO) or managing complex, multi-million-dollar project portfolios.

Deep expertise in project governance frameworks, resource management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing teams.

Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in enterprise project tracking and portfolio tools (such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or Clarity).
