Job Vacancy – Tile Mason / Carpenter

Drill and Hammer General Maintenance is looking for skilled and experienced Tile Masons / Carpenters to join our maintenance team in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:

Carry out tile installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance works.

Remove and replace damaged or broken tiles.

Prepare surfaces before tile installation, including leveling and cleaning.

Apply adhesive, grout, and sealant properly.

Perform wall and floor tile works with proper alignment and finishing.

Carry out carpentry repair and maintenance works, including doors, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and furniture.

Repair, adjust, and replace damaged wooden parts and fittings.

Take measurements and ensure accurate cutting and installation of materials.

Perform general maintenance works related to the assigned trade.

Maintain proper workmanship, cleanliness, and safety standards at the worksite.

Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned jobs on time.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of tile installation and finishing works.

Skilled in tile cutting, leveling, grouting, and sealing.

Good knowledge of different types of tiles and adhesives.

For carpentry: knowledge of wood cutting, installation, repair, and finishing.

Ability to read measurements and work accurately according to site requirements.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot common maintenance issues.

Good workmanship and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE/Gulf region.

Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or construction is preferred.

Must be physically fit and able to perform site work.

Willing to work at different client locations in Abu Dhabi.

UAE driving license is an advantage.

Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Salary: To be discussed based on experience and skills.
