About the role

Responsibilities:

Perform fitting, assembly, alignment and installation of steel/metal components.

Read and understand fabrication/shop drawings and dimensions.

Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, marking and fit-up work.

Assemble beams, columns, frames, supports, platforms, handrails, stairs and other fabricated structures.

Perform proper alignment, leveling and positioning before welding.

Work closely with welders, fabricators and foremen.

Check dimensions and ensure work meets drawings and quality requirements.

Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

2–3+ years of experience as a Fitter in steel/metal fabrication.

Experience in structural steel fabrication preferred.

Ability to read basic fabrication/shop drawings.

Knowledge of hand tools, power tools and fitting equipment.

Experience with PEB, steel structures, platforms, handrails, stairs and supports is an advantage.

UAE/GCC experience preferred
