Professional Upholsterer – Luxury Furniture Manufacturing
We are looking for highly skilled and experienced professional upholsterers to join our furniture manufacturing team in Sharjah, UAE.
This position is only for experienced upholsterers who can produce premium-quality furniture with exceptional finishing. We manufacture custom-made sofas, beds, chairs, headboards and other upholstered furniture, and quality is extremely important to us.
What You Must Know
The successful candidate must be able to handle upholstery work professionally from start to finish, including:
Complete sofa, chair and bed upholstery
Fabric and leather cutting
Accurate measuring and material calculation
Foam cutting, shaping and fitting
Webbing and spring installation
Cushion making and filling
Professional stitching and sewing
Working with fabric, velvet and leather
Pattern matching and fabric alignment
Curved and complicated furniture designs
Deep buttoning and detailed upholstery work
Clean corners, piping and straight seams
Repairing and correcting upholstery problems
Understanding furniture measurements and drawings
Final finishing and quality inspection
Quality Standard
We are not looking for beginners or helpers.
We need professional craftsmen who understand what perfect finishing means.
Every detail must be clean and precise. Fabric tension, stitching, corners, seams, cushions, patterns and overall finishing must meet a very high standard.
The candidate must be able to identify imperfections and correct them before the furniture leaves the factory.
Practical Skills Test
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a practical upholstery test at our factory in Sharjah before employment is confirmed.
We will evaluate:
Quality of finishing
Upholstery technique
Cutting and fitting
Attention to detail
Speed and efficiency
Ability to work independently
Overall craftsmanship
Your salary will be based on your actual experience, skill and quality of work demonstrated during the test.

Requirements
Several years of professional upholstery experience
Strong experience manufacturing high-quality sofas and upholstered furniture
Ability to complete work independently from start to finish
Excellent attention to detail
Very high finishing standards
Reliable, responsible and hardworking
Experience with luxury or custom-made furniture is highly preferred
Must be willing to complete the practical skills test
