Location: Krishnagar, Nadia, West Bengal Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 2 years Education: Agriculture background preferred Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head

Salary: Rs 15000 to Rs 17000 Joining: Immediate.

Job Purpose

To manage the day-to-day operations of the biomass yard, including receipt, weighing, stacking, stock management, quality checking and dispatch of agricultural biomass for the biochar project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the biomass collection and storage yard.

Receive biomass such as jute sticks, paddy straw, mustard stalks and other agricultural residues.

Maintain accurate records of inward, outward and closing stock.

Supervise proper weighing, unloading, stacking and storage of biomass.

Monitor biomass quality, moisture, contamination and condition.

Coordinate with local suppliers, farmers, aggregators, transporters and field procurement teams.

Ensure proper utilization of yard space and minimize stock loss, damage and wastage.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with records.

Maintain daily stock, vehicle, purchase and dispatch reports in Excel.

Support the Project Manager in maintaining adequate biomass inventory for continuous plant operations.

Candidate Profile

Locally based in Krishnagar/Nadia preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture, biomass, warehouse, yard, stock or material management.

Agriculture experience/background will be preferred.

Good knowledge of local agricultural practices, farmers and biomass availability.

Good Bengali communication skills; Hindi/English knowledge preferred.

Basic MS Excel and stock-recording skills.

Should be comfortable working in a field/yard environment and supervising workers and vehicles.

Preferred 2 wheeler.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
