About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, financial reporting, and Credit Control, with hands-on experience in a manufacturing company. Candidates with prior experience in an auditing firm will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review customer and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
Credit Controller & Collections Follow-up
Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including invoice verification, posting, and reconciliation.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while providing meaningful financial insights to management and clients.
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring proper account classification and accuracy.
Supervise journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Prepare, review, and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
Perform and review bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Handle cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality accounting services.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a senior accounting role within the UAE.
Mandatory: At least 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company.
Strong hands-on experience in invoice preparation, invoice processing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing accounting.
Previous experience in an auditing firm is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
Experience in project-wise accounting is an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of inventory, costing, and production-related accounting.
Able to independently manage invoice preparation, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and daily accounting operations.
Male candidates preferred.
Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
