QA/QC ENGINEER WITH ROAD & INFRASTRUCTURE WORK EXPERIENCE

A well-established Road Construction Company in the UAE is seeking an Experienced QA/QC ENGINEER to join our team.

Holding Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical or another relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 5 years’ experience in Road & Infrastructure Works mainly in UAE.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality System Development:

Establish and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and create necessary project-specific plans, such as method statements and inspection and test plans (ITPs).

Inspection and Auditing:

Perform daily, routine, and periodic inspections of materials and processes to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct internal audits to verify compliance.

Documentation Management:

Prepare and control quality-related documents, including reports, test records, and handover packages.

Defect Management:

Detect and manage defects by handling non-conformance reports (NCRs), coordinating corrective actions, and tracking the close-out of issues.

Coordination and Collaboration:

Work closely with development teams, construction managers, clients, and contractors to resolve quality issues and ensure project requirements are met.

Compliance:

Ensure all activities and products comply with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry codes and standards.

Reporting:

Provide regular reports on quality-related matters and attend quality meetings.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or another relevant Engineering discipline.

Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably with 5+ years of experience in the Road and Infrastructure industry

Strong knowledge of industry quality standards, such as ISO 9001, and familiarity with relevant codes and regulations

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination.

Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite and quality management tools.

Relevant certifications in quality control or quality management are a plus

Salary Range:

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
