About the Role
Store Motion LLC is looking for a proactive and experienced Safety Officer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance across our joinery manufacturing facility and interior fit-out project sites. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and hands-on experience in joinery production, carpentry workshops, and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and project safety requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments in the joinery factory and project sites.
Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee safety awareness programs.
Conduct safety induction training for all new employees and subcontractors.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and take corrective action for non-compliance.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Coordinate emergency response drills, first aid, and fire safety activities.
Monitor housekeeping standards and safe storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Factory Supervisors to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain HSE documentation, inspection reports, permits, and statutory records.
Identify hazards and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with safe work practices during installation, fabrication, lifting operations, and machine operation.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Safety Officer in Joinery, Interior Fit-Out, or Construction.
Mandatory experience in both joinery factory operations and interior fit-out project sites.
Should be well-versed with ISO Audits and Dubai Airport Authority approavls.
NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
IOSH certification is preferred.
Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
