Piling Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Piling Foreman with strong hands-on experience in piling operations and site supervision. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of piling rigs, equipment, pile testing, reinforcement works, and the ability to effectively control and coordinate site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily piling activities at the project site.

Ensure piling works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and project requirements.

Control and coordinate the site workforce, rig operators, helpers, steel fixers, and other site personnel.

Monitor piling rig operations and ensure proper use of machinery, equipment, and tools.

Have strong practical knowledge of piling rigs, drilling tools, casing, tremie pipes, and other piling equipment.

Coordinate with consultants and client representatives during piling activities and inspections.

Coordinate and assist with pile testing activities, including static load tests, dynamic load tests, integrity tests, and other required testing.

Ensure piles are constructed according to the required diameter, depth, alignment, reinforcement, and concrete requirements.

Check and coordinate BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) and reinforcement cage preparation for piles.

Supervise reinforcement cage fabrication, lifting, and installation.

Monitor concrete pouring activities and ensure proper coordination with the batching plant and concrete suppliers.

Maintain daily records of piling activities, production, concrete consumption, and site progress.

Identify and report any technical or operational issues to the Site Engineer/Project Engineer.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices within the piling work area.

Coordinate with equipment operators to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Ensure site activities are carried out in compliance with project quality and HSE requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of UAE experience as a Piling Foreman or in a similar role.

Strong practical and technical knowledge of piling works.

Good knowledge of piling rigs, machinery, equipment, tools, and drilling operations.

Good understanding of pile testing procedures and requirements.

Experience in reinforcement cage preparation, BBS, and pile reinforcement installation.

Ability to read and understand piling drawings and reinforcement details.

Strong ability to manage and control site teams effectively.

Ability to coordinate professionally with consultants, clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

Good knowledge of concrete pouring and tremie concrete operations.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates with experience in deep foundation, bored piling, CFA piling, or ground engineering projects will be preferred.
