Quality Control Manager

WE ARE HIRING – QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER Perfume & Fragrance Industry

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee quality standards across our perfume and fragrance production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all Quality Control (QC) activities for perfumes, fragrances, raw materials, and finished products.

Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and inspection systems.

Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging materials, and finished products.

Monitor production processes to ensure products meet approved specifications and quality standards.

Conduct or coordinate testing of fragrance, alcohol, color, appearance, odor, stability, and other quality parameters.

Maintain proper QC records, test reports, batch records, and certificates of analysis.

Investigate quality complaints, defects, deviations, and non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Work closely with Production, R&D, Procurement, Warehouse, and Regulatory teams to resolve quality issues.

Ensure proper batch-to-batch consistency and maintain product quality.

Establish and monitor quality standards for new perfume formulations and product launches.

Conduct supplier quality assessments and monitor the quality of raw materials.

Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, ISO, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Lead internal quality inspections and support external audits.

Train QC staff on quality procedures, testing methods, documentation, and hygiene standards.

Continuously improve QC processes and reduce product defects and customer complaints.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in the perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, or personal-care industry.

Strong knowledge of perfume and fragrance raw materials and finished-product quality standards.

Experience with laboratory testing, analytical methods, and QC equipment.

Good understanding of GMP, ISO, CAPA, SOPs, batch documentation, and quality management systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.

High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Experience with stability testing, product specifications, and quality investigations is an advantage.

Knowledge of UAE/GCC perfume and cosmetics regulations is an advantage.

Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
