QA/QC Engineer – Piling & Soil Improvement

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer with strong knowledge of piling and soil improvement works. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality control, preparation and submission of quality documentation, inspection coordination, site testing, method statements, and consultant approvals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP) and QA/QC procedures for piling and soil improvement works.

Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and coordinate with consultants for inspections, approvals, and follow-ups.

Coordinate with site teams, consultants, laboratories, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Conduct and monitor site QC inspections, testing, and quality assessments for piling and soil improvement activities.

Prepare and submit site QC testing reports, inspection reports, test results, and assessment documentation.

Prepare Method Statements (MS) for piling, pile testing, soil improvement, and related construction activities.

Review project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, and quality requirements.

Coordinate and follow up for consultant/client approvals of quality documents, material submissions, inspection requests, and testing procedures.

Monitor piling and soil improvement activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved procedures and specifications.

Coordinate with third-party laboratories and testing agencies for required field and laboratory testing.

Maintain proper records of inspections, test reports, approvals, NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.

Identify quality issues and coordinate with the project team to implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Assist in preparing NCR responses, corrective action reports, and close-out documentation.

Ensure all QA/QC documentation is properly maintained and updated throughout the project.

Coordinate with the HSE and site teams to ensure safe and compliant execution of piling and soil improvement activities.

Participate in quality meetings with consultants, clients, and project management teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

Relevant experience in QA/QC for piling, soil improvement, ground engineering, or deep foundation projects.

Strong knowledge of piling and soil improvement quality requirements and testing procedures.

Proven experience in preparing Quality Plans, ITPs, WIRs, Method Statements, inspection reports, and testing documentation.

Good experience in pile testing and preparation of Method Statements for pile testing.

Strong knowledge of site QC testing, inspection procedures, and assessment submissions.

OSHA and/or NEBOSH certification is preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and consultant requirements.

Good communication, coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.

UAE construction/ground engineering experience will be an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
