Foreman – Soil Improvement

We are looking for an experienced Foreman – Soil Improvement with strong hands-on experience in soil improvement and piling works. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of construction equipment, pile testing, reinforcement cage preparation, and the ability to effectively manage site teams and coordinate with consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily soil improvement and ground engineering activities at the project site.

Ensure all site activities are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, project specifications, and instructions.

Control and coordinate the site workforce, operators, technicians, and helpers.

Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, Site Engineers, and subcontractors during site activities and inspections.

Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to the planned schedule.

Maintain strong practical knowledge of piling and soil improvement operations.

Assist in coordinating and monitoring pile testing activities and related site requirements.

Coordinate reinforcement works and check BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) and reinforcement cages for piles where applicable.

Supervise reinforcement cage preparation, lifting, and installation.

Monitor the operation and proper utilization of soil improvement machines, piling rigs, drilling equipment, pumps, generators, and other site equipment.

Ensure operators use machinery and tools correctly and efficiently.

Identify equipment-related issues and coordinate with the Site Engineer/Equipment team for necessary action.

Monitor material usage, manpower allocation, equipment productivity, and daily site output.

Maintain daily records of site activities and report progress to the Site Engineer.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the work area.

Support site inspections, testing, and quality control activities.

Immediately report technical, operational, safety, or quality issues to the responsible engineer.

Ensure all workers follow project HSE requirements and site procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of UAE experience as a Foreman in soil improvement, piling, or ground engineering.

Strong practical knowledge of soil improvement and piling works.

Good knowledge of pile testing and related site procedures.

Experience with BBS and reinforcement cage preparation for piles.

Strong knowledge of machines, equipment, tools, and their applications used in soil improvement and piling works.

Proven ability to control and manage site teams effectively.

Ability to coordinate professionally with consultants and client representatives.

Ability to understand construction drawings, method statements, and site instructions.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.

Candidates with experience in ground improvement, deep foundations, piling, or geotechnical construction will be preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
