About the role

Apleona are looking for a driven Business Development Representative who's excited by the challenge of opening new doors, sparking conversations with key decision-makers, and uncovering opportunities across some of the most exciting sectors in Ireland - from life sciences and healthcare to commercial, manufacturing, and the public sector.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:00) with a hybrid office/remote option

Main duties and responsibilities

Research and identify potential clients across target sectors (e.g., commercial, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing and public sector).

Use CRM tools, LinkedIn, industry databases, and outbound campaigns to generate leads.

Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline).

Internal leads provided by team members across the business in IRL and FMI.

Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking events.

Develop tailored messaging to engage decision-makers and influencers.

Schedule meetings or demos for Business Development Managers

Monitor FM industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams to refine targeting strategies

Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead status in the CRM system.

Produce weekly reports on lead generation activity, conversion rates, and pipeline health

Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with lead generation efforts.

Support bid teams with early-stage intelligence and client background information

Qualifications and experience

Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Knowledge of IRL FM market dynamics and procurement processes.

Experience with digital marketing tools and automation platforms

Proven experience in B2B lead generation, ideally within the FM or property services sector.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Ability to understand and articulate FM service offerings (hard/soft services, TFM, etc.).

Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient.

Excellent research and analytical skills.
