Job Description
Digital Printing Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring digital printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to customer requirements and production specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate digital printing machines and related finishing equipment.
Set up machines according to job specifications, including paper/material size, color, quantity, and print quality.
Check digital files before printing and ensure correct settings are applied.
Load paper, ink, toner, and other printing materials.
Monitor the printing process and make adjustments when required.
Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, alignment, quality, and defects.
Troubleshoot basic machine and printing problems.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printing equipment.
Maintain accurate records of production quantities and material usage.
Minimize paper, ink, and material wastage.
Complete printing jobs within required deadlines.
Follow workplace safety and quality-control procedures.
Coordinate with designers, supervisors, and other production staff.
Keep the printing area and equipment clean and organized.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating digital printing machines is preferred.
Knowledge of digital printing processes, colors, paper types, and finishing.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with printing software.
Good attention to detail and color accuracy.
Ability to troubleshoot basic printing and machine issues.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple printing jobs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
