Project Manager – Soil Improvement & Piling

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Soil Improvement & Piling with strong UAE experience in ground engineering and construction. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of UAE experience, with strong technical knowledge of soil improvement, piling, construction equipment, project budgeting, costing, and commercial management.

The candidate should have an established network and strong working relationships with UAE vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and local market stakeholders, along with proven experience in managing projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee soil improvement, piling, and ground engineering projects from mobilization to completion.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Provide strong technical and operational leadership in soil improvement and piling works.

Review project requirements, construction methodologies, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Manage project budgets, costing, resource allocation, and overall project profitability.

Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, variations, and financial performance.

Identify opportunities to control costs and improve project efficiency.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.

Maintain strong relationships with local UAE vendors and suppliers and utilize knowledge of the local construction market.

Source and evaluate suitable suppliers, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.

Have strong knowledge of construction equipment, machinery, tools, and their application in soil improvement and piling works.

Plan equipment and manpower requirements according to project needs.

Monitor equipment utilization, productivity, maintenance requirements, and operational efficiency.

Lead project teams, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.

Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, safety, and resource utilization.

Review and approve method statements, work programs, material requirements, and project plans in coordination with relevant teams.

Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Conduct regular project review meetings and provide management with progress and cost updates.

Ensure compliance with approved project specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Manage project variations, claims, and commercial matters in coordination with the commercial team.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Ensure projects are completed within the approved time, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the UAE.

Strong and proven experience in soil improvement and piling works.

Strong technical understanding of ground improvement techniques, piling methods, and associated construction activities.

Proven experience managing major construction or ground engineering projects.

Strong knowledge of project budgeting, costing, cost control, and project profitability.

Good knowledge of construction equipment, machinery, tools, and their applications.

Strong knowledge of the UAE construction and ground engineering market.

Established relationships with UAE-based vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.

Strong leadership, project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of project planning, resource management, procurement, and commercial coordination.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management/construction software.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
