Experience - 2+ Years

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile development

team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in building and

maintaining Android applications. You should be proficient in Kotlin and Java, have a strong

understanding of Android SDK, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative

environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or

Java.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.).

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2 –5 years of professional Android development experience.

Proficient in Kotlin and Java.

Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal

with different screen sizes.

Experience with MVVM/MVP architecture, Jetpack components, LiveData,

ViewModel, etc.

Knowledge of Firebase, Room Database, and Retrofit/OkHttp.

Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and agile development processes.

Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Familiarity with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and UI testing frameworks.

Understanding of security best practices in mobile development.

Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
