Senior Furniture Carpenter

Duties/Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to build furniture frames and finished products.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials with accuracy.

Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently during production.

Perform sanding, finishing, polishing, and quality inspections to ensure durability and high standards.

Install hardware components such as hinges, handles, drawer slides, and brackets.

Apply gluing, nailing, stitching, and fabric upholstery as required for specific furniture designs.

Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet production targets and maintain design quality.

Requirements and skills

Mandatory 10+ years of UAE experience as a furniture carpenter and upholsterer

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production plans

Skilled in using woodworking machinery and hand tools with safe, accurate workmanship

Skilled in using upholstery tools such as hot knives, nail guns, staplers, adhesives, and sewing equipment.

Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to produce high‑quality, durable furniture.

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
