Press Brake / Bending Machine Operator
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up press brake/bending machines for sheet-metal fabrication.
Read and interpret technical drawings, bending schedules, and specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material and bending requirements.
Set bending angles, dimensions, back gauge, and other machine parameters accurately.
Check finished components using measuring tools such as vernier calipers, angle gauges, and measuring tapes.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain required quality standards.
Identify and correct bending defects, alignment issues, and dimensional deviations.
Handle different sheet-metal materials and thicknesses safely.
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and production teams to meet production schedules.
Requirements:
Experience as a CNC Press Brake / Bending Machine Operator.
Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings.
Experience working with sheet metal, preferably stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
Knowledge of bending sequences, tooling selection, and bend allowances.
Good understanding of measurements and dimensional tolerances.
Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
Experience with CNC press brake machines is an advantage.
Preferred Experience: 3-4 years experience in sheet-metal fabrication, technical furniture, cabinets, consoles, or similar metal-fabrication environments would be an advantage.
Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
