About the role

Job Summary

Point Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to oversee and maintain quality standards across our construction and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspections, quality documentation, coordination with project stakeholders, and ensuring that all works comply with approved specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures and quality requirements.

Conduct regular inspections of construction and fit-out works.

Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.

Prepare, submit, and follow up on WIRs, MIRs, inspection requests, NCRs, and other QA/QC documentation.

Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant project teams.

Monitor quality issues and ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective actions.

Maintain accurate quality records and prepare QA/QC reports as required.

Review materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved standards.

Support project teams in resolving technical and quality-related issues.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.

Promote continuous improvement in quality processes across the project.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.

4-5 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction and/or interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, inspection procedures, and QA/QC documentation.

Experience dealing with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Knowledge of NCR management and corrective/preventive actions.

Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.

Application Requirement
